RED PEPPER SOFTWARE | Scholarship Opportunity

Red Pepper Software, a software and app development company, is pleased to announce the launch of their scholarship contest. The team at Red Pepper is committed to supporting students in their educational pursuits and look forward to contributing to the cause.

For the Fall semester, Red Pepper Software will select and award one scholarship winner a $1,000 academic scholarship.

Who Is Eligible

Any current, full-time student of any accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is encouraged to apply. There is no age or specific major requirement.

How To Apply

All applicants will either:

  1. Write an essay between 400 - 800 words OR
  2. Create a 1 - 2 minute video

They will be asked to address ONE of the following topics:

  1. What app or software program do you most commonly use, what does it help you do, and how does that improve your day-to-day life?
  2. Everyone has an “app idea.” What is your “app idea” and how would it improve the lives of those who use it?
  3. Our tagline is “Build What Matters.” What matters to you and what role has technology played?

To submit, email your essay in PDF or Word format OR a link to your video to Please include your full name, your school’s name, and the address to your school’s Financial Aid office

Deadline For Submission

The deadline for submitting your application is 12 p.m. EST on August 17.

Selection Process and Notification

The Red Pepper Software Scholarship Committee will review all applications received and choose one winner for the fall academic semester. Once the winner has been determined, they will be contacted by Red Pepper Software by August 31.

Additional Details

The awarded scholarship funds are to be used for tuition and books only. Once awarded, a check will be written to the recipient's school of choice and credited for academic costs. The scholarship is non-renewable and is only good for a one-semester cycle. Recipients are only eligible to receive the scholarship one during their lifetime.
